Dry Fish Coriander Chutney

Northeast Indian style Dhania chutney with dried fish
With just a few humble ingredients, we are going to create this yummy refreshing chutney with the distinct taste of roasted dry fish peeping through the spices. We, North Eastern Indian tribals are hardcore fans of dry fish and everyone have their own version and always love experimenting with them. Until the chutneys are hot, we are ready to go slurp so just keep adding your favourite condiments and chillies to your dry fish we are all set.


Dry Fish Coriander Chutney
Ingredients
Coriander – 100gm fresh
Salt – as per taste
Oil -1 tsp
Green chilies- 2
Dry red chilies- 3
Garlic -5 clove
Indian 5 spice- 1/3 tsp
Dry Fish – any of your choice

Preparation:
1.      Roast the dry fish over a charcoal or stove.
2.      Take a small deep pan and dry roast the dry chilies for a minutes stirring continuously. Take it off the pan and keep it aside.
3.      Now in the same pan, heat the oil. Add the Indian 5 Spice and garlic cloves, lightly fry it for a minute and turn of the heat
4.      Take a grinder, add all the ingredients and pound it into a smooth paste.
