Dry Fish Chutney

What’s chutney? A spicy mixture of condiments, vegetables and meat or fish; which is served as sides. Well today I bring to you some lip smacking chutneys from North East India. I am going to cook 2 variants of Dry Fish chutneys. The flavour varies based on the vegetables that we will add to build these recipes.
Dry Fish Chutney 
The ingredients required are:
1.     Tomato  - 2 medium size
2.    Onions – 2 medium size
3.     Green chilies – 20
4.    Ginger- 2 inch
5.     Potato- 1 medium size boiled
6.    Salt as per state
7.    Dry fish- as many and any of your choice

Preparation
1.     Grill both the tomatoes, half of the green chilies and dry fish on a stove or charcoal.
2.    Finely chop the onions, ginger and the other half of the green chilies.
3.     Peel the outer skin of the grilled tomatoes and the boiled potato.

Ingredients for Dry Fish Chutney 
We will now twist the dish so take 2 bowls and start adding the ingredients as below:

·       Add half of the ginger, onions and grilled dry fish.
·       Salt as per taste
·       1 grilled tomato
·       Add the finely chopped fresh green chilies
·       Add half of the ginger, onions and grilled dry fish.
·       Salt as per taste
·       1 grilled tomato
·       Add the grilled chilies
·        Boiled potato

Now mash them in their respective bowls wholesomely together.
