Pork Fry in Hoisin Sauce

Chinese style pork with Hoisin sauce stir fry

This is my first experiment with Hoisin sauce. I have not heard much about cooking with it except that it is extensively used as a dipping sauce, so I created a dish by myself, and it tasted excellent and flavors are very different from any of the Chinese sauces I have come across so far. It’s thick, and flavours are quite unique and its usually used for glazing in Chinese food.

I picked mine at a convenient store wondering what it is and with limited knowledge picked it to make it this delicious pork recipe. This dish has an earthy feel due to the sesame effect and the soyabeans.
