Ethnic Karbi Tribe's Pork with sesame seeds recipe |

Pork 300 grams medium pieces

Bamboo Shoots paste 2 teaspoons
3.
Sesame seeds 3 teaspoons
4.
Onion 1 medium sliced
5.
Ginger Garlic paste 2 ½ teaspoons
6.
Fresh or Dried Red chili 6 to 10

Salt as per taste
8.
Fresh Coriander leaves (optional)
PREPARATION
1.
First lightly roast your sesame seeds
over a low flame for couple of mins. Then pound it into a fine paste and keep
aside.
2.
Take a heavy bottomed pan and add your
pork pieces, sliced onions, ginger-garlic paste (2 teaspoons) and salt as per
taste – stir them well, cover and cook it for 20 minutes.
3.
In the meantime, we will boil our red
chilies then roughly pound them in a mortar into a rough paste.
4.
Now after 20 minutes, we will add our
red chili paste – stir, cover and cook it for 40 minutes on a low flame
occasionally stir in between.
5.
Once the pork is cooked, we will add
our sesame seeds paste, bamboo shoots paste and ½ teaspoon of ginger garlic
paste - stir them together and let it cook for 5 minutes.
6.
Finally garnish with fresh coriander
leaves, if desired.
