Pepper Pork with Potatoes
Pork with potatoes is my all-time favourite side dish, which is juicy and delicious. The best part of this recipe is easy and can be prepared with ingredients easily available at home. The dish is almost effortless, I can say almost cooks on its own and it always works wonders to wow your guests when served with simple meals.

INGREDIENTS
1.    Pork 500 grams
2.    Potatoes 4 medium peeled & chopped into halves
3.    Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
4.    Pepper powder ½ teaspoon
5.    Cumin powder ½ teaspoon
6.    Onions 2 small finely chopped
7.    Ginger 1 inch
8.    Garlic 10 to 15cloves
9.    Green chili 10 to 15
10.Oil 3 tablespoons
11.Salt as per taste
12.Coriander leaves finely chopped for garnishing (optional)

PREPARATION
1.    First pound your ginger, garlic and green chilies in a grinder into a rough paste and keep aside.
2.    Heat oil in a pan, then add your chopped onions and fry them on a low flame until the onions are translucent.
3.    Now add your pork pieces -stir and open cook it for 15 to 20 minutes gently stirring in between until the water from the meat is almost dried.
4.    Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, pepper powder and ginger-garlic- chili paste and potatoes – stir, cover and cook it on a low flame for 20 to 30 minutes – ensure that you stir it every 5minutes so that they evenly cooked.
5.    Once the potatoes are cooked, which you can press with the back of your ladle; add salt as per taste – stir it well and cook for 5 minutes.
6.    Finally garnish with fresh coriander leaves!
