Fermented dried fish with potatoes |
INGREDIENTS

Fermented dry fish 8 to 10 small

Potatoes 3 medium size
3.
Tomatoes 2 medium finely chopped
4.
Onion 1 medium finely chopped
5.
Green
chilies 5 to 6 slit
6.
Salt to taste

Turmeric powder 1/4th teaspoon

Oil 2 tablespoons
1.
First boil the potatoes
and once cool, peel the skin. Squash the potatoes but don’t mash them and keep
aside.

Now heat oil in a
pan, once hot - add your fermented dry fish,
onions, slit green chilies and pinch of turmeric powder - stir fry them on a
medium flame for a minute.

Add your boiled
potato and salt as per taste - stir and cook them for another 4 to 5 minutes.

Add your finely
chopped tomatoes - stir it well and cook until it turns pulpy.
5.
Add about 1 cup
of water so that the vegetable becomes little mushy, then again stir and cook
on low flame until it becomes dry.
