Spicy Oyster Mushrooms | Asian Recipe

Spicy Mushroom

I recently noticed that oyster mushrooms are quite in vogue in the super markets apart from the regular button mushrooms. The flavor is not the same as the regular button mushrooms, so try one if you haven't. Indians still do not prepare dishes with mushrooms expect for the North Easter India, which grows there in abundance. But yes, it is cooked very occasionally in the households; as the vegetable has been introduced in most cities through junk food and Oriental cuisines. I prepared this awesome earthy and delicious mushroom dish for my lovely pure vegetarian friends, who for sure will enjoy eating and to cook as well. The dish goes well with fried rice and noodles. It’s is too easy to prepare and takes about 10mins only (that’s my favorite part). Here we go…

 INGREDIENTS
·       5 dry red chilies tear to half.
·       1 medium sized onions, finely chopped
·       1/2tsp ginger-garlic paste
·       1tsp dark soy sauce
·       300gms
·       Salt to taste
·       1/3 tsp corn flour mixed in ½ bowl of water
·       3tsp oil

PREPARATIONS
1.Heat oil in a pan, add onions, red chilies, salt, ginger-garlic paste and soy sauce, cook for 1minute on a medium flame.
2.Now add the mushrooms and cover the lid for another 5mins in a low flame.
3.Finally add the corn flour mixture, cook for another 4mins and dry to the consistency of your choice.
